The Hawke's Bay Team

The Hawke's Bay team brings together some of the regions most experienced construction professionals. Their combined portfolio includes residential, commercial, industrial and civil construction projects.

We look forward to working with you.

Geoff Huggett
Construction Supervisor

Having been with Stead Construction from its inception Geoff has been part of all company changes as it has grown. Geoff has a wealth of ‘practical grounded' construction knowledge, together with a lifetime of construction industry working experience. In an ever-changing world of technology, Geoff doesn't get wrapped up in day to day emails and information technology, which allows him the time and brain space to get stuck into what he does best, which is constructing buildings.

Geoff has been the ‘key player' in some of Stead Construction's most notable projects, to which he takes in his stride.

Geoff in his former employment played a major role in taking Company Director Jeremy Stead through his Carpentry apprenticeship.

John's uncompromising stance on production during the working day and no nonsense attitude has seen him deliver some key results on projects where timing and logistics have been key.

John Deacon

Rain, hail or snow you will not see John anywhere else apart from his given project. John's vast experience within the wider construction industry is second to none and his strive to work and deliver results both for the client and Stead Construction has seen John complete some key projects under all sort of unforeseen circumstances.

John's ability to stay calm and continue to push forward sees him held in very high regard amongst all of the staff at Stead Construction.
